OUR OPINION:

So I just have to start off by saying that before reading The Secrets Between Us I did NOT read the synopsis.  Silly you may think but I'll tell you the reason why.  I have NEVER, EVER been disappointed in a Jennifer Ann story.  Ever.  I know when I pick up her work I am getting a quality story that has been well thought out and is sure to check off all my must haves.  ALL.  This author has been on my one-click list for a really long time.  Her stories only get better with time and I don't anticipate that changing any time soon. 

If you have never read anything by Jennifer Ann, The Secrets Between Us will be a good place to start as it is a standalone novel.  Invest the time in her writing, it will be well worth it! 

So first off, this cover is classy and super beautiful!  If I were to pick up a book just based off the cover, this would intrigue me.  A military man gets me every time, (I have my own at home).  

The Secrets Between Us started super strong and didn't let up at all.  Total reading time for me was a little over 4 hours...and yes I binged the entire thing in one sitting.  What!?  Like you never have.  Psh.

So many nerves and emotions for me in this book!  Seeing an old flame after many years apart...having secrets tucked up your sleeves the whole time!  Constant push and pull between wanting to give up the revenge just to be happy with the love of your life.  Gah, I can't even!  And once the truths started coming out, it was never ending!  Danger and mystery are woven so perfectly throughout this entire read, keeping me intrigued the whole time...and I found myself consistently surprised at all of the twists.  I was exhausted at the end of this book.

Super pleased with The Secrets Between Us!  Looking forward to what is next for Jennifer Ann!
