Synopsis:

Our Opinion:
Embracing his Empire is quite the creation! It is hard for me to pinpoint really what kind of read it is. If I had to narrow it down as far as which genre it belongs to, I would have to say a Paranormal, historical, romance.
While it ticks off all three of those genres, it isn't over the top in either area, making it quite enjoyable.
Sometimes when reading something that delves into the paranormal/sci-fi genres, I can get a little confused with all the details. Sai Marie Johnson did a great job keeping it fairly simple and not over abundant.
While there are some emotional parts in Embracing His Empire, I could have used more.
Embracing His Empire was a pretty quick read for me, so perfect for any reader who has a little bit of time or doesn't really want to commit to a 5 hour read. It also ends in a HEA so there isn't the frustration of waiting for what's next in the series.
