You know what was Pretty Ugly about this book? The tears it caused. Lots and Lots. Ugly Cry. Just grab the Kleenex box now. Save yourself some time...then you won't have to stop reading to get up and get them.

I should have known though. Experience obviously taught me NOTHING when it came to this series. I think it was that a bit of time has passed since the first book, Pretty Reckless. I started reading with a false sense of reality. And then you know...chapter one happened.

Once again, Jane Anthony has knocked me over the head with an intensely emotional read...and I like it. *smirk* Anytime an author can grab my attention, hold on...and cause an emotional response from me, they win. Everything.

Totally caught up in this read from the very start, I had no chance. Binge read the entire book in one sitting, which took me a little bit over 3 hours.

Pretty Ugly continues on with Kat and Chase and their sobriety and everything that comes with it. These two are a great couple. Where one falters, the other is there to hold the other up. This is what a true relationship is.

While everything does seem to wrap up in a sweet little bow...we need to talk about that ending...please tell me there is MORE!

You really do need to read book one, Pretty Reckless, first to really get the whole experience of the Addicted Hearts Series!

Giving Pretty Ugly 5 stars and I am off to recover now.
