Another win for R.C. Boldt!
Loved Ditched and one of the best parts about it??? I smell a second book! GAH!
So usually I read stories about guys that are playing hard to get but that is NOT what you are getting here!
Ivy has hang ups about relationships...she doesn't like them and she specializes in getting people OUT of them. Enter Beckett Jones...hot guy who has a relationship on his radar with Miss Ivy. This whole book is centered around whether or not he will be able to break down those walls and convince her that relationships aren't so bad and its ok to give your heart to someone.
Bonuses for this book: I laughed, I cried a little bit, I swooned and there was just enough drama to pique that interest.
There are a slew of secondary characters that I love and wouldn't mind if they were to get their own story. When I say I smell at least a second book...I could be wrong...but I don't think I am. *giddy clapping* And now that I think about it...there was something indicating maybe there already is a book before this. I'll have to check in to this. I am newer to R.C. Boldt so I'm not quite up to speed on all of her work.
Overall, I loved this story. All of the must haves were there for me and I was held captive by this group from beginning to end. Reading time was a little over 4 hours.
