They say bad things happen in threes…
I made a mistake. I kissed the right boy, but married the wrong man.
They were friends. Best friends. Until my life fell apart.
Everything changed.
Something was stolen and then something was given in its place.
I had so much in my grasp, maybe it was too much because everything started slipping.
My son.
My husband.
My sanity.
Only one thing remained the same.
My first crush.
My first kiss.
My first love.
JAMIE
They say you can’t miss what you’ve never had…
But I swear I had her. At least for one kiss.
I left the right girl and tried to replace her with the wrong woman.
It didn’t work because I still missed her.
I promised my best friend I’d always look after his little sister. And our other best friend promised to never break her heart.
He lied.
I didn’t.
We have circled each other all our lives but our time never came.
We’ve never had our moment until now.

OUR REVIEW:
Absolutely loved this story on so many levels.
My most favorite element in No One But You was the kids. I have said it a thousand times but children make the story more often than not. The main characters have to be tender and end up being very vulnerable and honest and protective when it comes to kids in stories. So often you find an alpha male in stories and when you add a child to it they become likeable on a whole other level. While this story was about a second chance romance, I found my takeaway was learning to take the worst situation and make the best of it...to nurture relationships that aren't normally easy, in this case the divorced couples getting along for the children.
This story was highly emotional for me. Dealing with rejection or being unsure of the situation you find yourself in are difficult at best and many times I found myself tearing up as the author was able to pull me in so close to those emotions. I knew from chapter one that I would end up in tears over this book and I wasn't disappointed.
I am seeing that this is a debut title for Alexandra Silva and just based off this book I would definitely go back for more of her writing.
Enjoyed this read so much I am giving it all 5 stars!
Looking forward to more of this author!
