Super excited about this new release by Willow Winters.
I have been a fan for a while now and don't see that changing any time soon!
When they say don't judge a book by it's cover...they aren't lying in this case! This whole story was not what I expected at all. I absolutely LOVE Dean. He is all man while maintaining a bit of sweetness when he needs to. I think the way that he deals with Allison and how wishy-washy she is, is fantastic. He hangs in there when most men, I think, would hit the road. You can tell he is a man of substance almost immediately.
Allison is who kept me guessing the whole time. The suspense is with her and even though I tried to figure her situation out...I didn't until it was spelled out for me!
The subject matter in She Asked for It is a little sensitive, but I really think that the author did a great job handling it carefully and respectfully. I went in to this book thinking I knew what it was about and what was going to happen...which I think set the mood for me. I was a bit somber...and I really didn't need to be that worried. I truly hope other readers will give this book a chance. It is absolutely going to pull at your heart strings and then make you think a little bit.
I read...sorry...devoured this whole story in one sitting. Everything flowed so well for me and kept me looking for more answers, that putting it down really wasn't an option for me. Reading time was about 4 hours.
Final answer? Loved it. Would definitely recommend it to my friends who like to explore a little of the darker side...who love stories where women overcome...and people who love a good HEA.
